Bank limits (DePix / Plebank)

Rules applied by the bank to the payer (CPF/CNPJ). The platform cannot change these limits.

R$ 500

Starting daily cap if the CPF/CNPJ has never used DePix; then the limit evolves.

R$ 3,000

Maximum amount per single transaction (each payment).

R$ 6,000

Maximum daily total when the limit is fully evolved (e.g. 2 × R$ 3,000).

3 / 30 min

Same CPF/CNPJ — anti-fraud frequency cap.

Limits are per paying CPF/CNPJ: new payers start at R$ 500/day and the cap grows with DePix usage. The maximum daily total is R$ 6,000, but each transaction is capped at R$ 3,000 (e.g. two R$ 3,000 payments use the full daily allowance). Frequency is also capped (max. 3 payments every 30 minutes); violations may trigger refunds.

Full rule details

Limits are not tied to your platform account: they apply to each CPF or CNPJ that pays. Each payer has an individual limit.

Initial limit: CPF/CNPJ that has never used DePix: up to R$ 500 per day (initial cap).

Evolution, daily cap, and per-transaction cap: The limit depends on how much the payer has already used DePix: it starts at R$ 500/day and increases over time (within about 24 hours it may double progressively). The maximum daily total is R$ 6,000. Each single transaction is capped at R$ 3,000 — so up to two R$ 3,000 payments can reach the full daily maximum.

When logged in, open the lookup page and enter the CPF or CNPJ:

/find-customer

You must be signed in.

  • No record → treat limit as R$ 500.
  • Record found → shows the current limit for that CPF/CNPJ.

The same CPF/CNPJ cannot make more than 3 payments in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, another 3 are allowed.

  • The payment may not be confirmed and may be automatically refunded.
  • Funds return to the origin (paying CPF/CNPJ), per the bank’s process.

Refund timing: Not instant: goes through bank compliance before authorization.

  • Large amounts without enough history (e.g. trying R$ 3,000 or the full daily cap before the limit has evolved).
  • Many consecutive payments from the same CPF/CNPJ.
  • Many test PIX from the same CPF/CNPJ (even small amounts).
  • Behavior flagged as suspicious by the bank.

  • The platform cannot change these limits.
  • They are set by the bank and applicable Brazilian regulation.

Best practices

  • Avoid repeating the same CPF/CNPJ without need.
  • Respect the 30-minute window between payment batches.
  • Check your limit on /find-customer (logged in) before large amounts.
  • Avoid simulating many payments with your own CPF/CNPJ.
